Full Tilt Poker announcement coming Monday

Full Tilt Poker Live Events?
Based on a lot of speculation circulating in the forums, it appears that Full Tilt Poker is drawing into a position that will put them in direct opposition with some of the most significant land tournaments in the world.
If the rumors are true, Full Tilt Poker will be scheduling numerous live poker events intended to compete with other tours. Among the poker tours being selected or ‘targeted’ are the World Series of Poker, The European Poker Tour and others not yet whispered anywhere.
The first confirmed event is scheduled in October over the same weekend as the World Series Of Poker Europe (WSOPE) in October. There is further rumor that there will be overlapping events with the Federated Poker Events in the UK as well. Those dates have yet to be confirmed.

The next bit of credible rumor is surrounding the event buy in. The speculation indicates buy in events of 100 thousand dollars. This kind of buy in would make the poker event among the highest pay outs possible.

Speculation also continues as to when or what events the Full Tilt Pros will be competing in. According to the information provided thus far, the professional poker players on team Full Tilt will only be able to compete in scheduled live events with Full Tilt, when they overlap with another major event. Does this mean that we won’t see Patrik Antonius at the WSOPE this year?

The poker forums are already buzzing about this subject. How much more activity will we see after the big announcement? What will Full Tilt Poker reveal about their live event plans? How much of the speculation will prove to be fact? The big announcement comes on Monday. Our answers will come then and many poker players are watching with baited breath.
